The goal was to create an exterior CMF (Color, Material, Finish) direction that conveys refined sensuality through a contemporary lens. The visual identity of the car combines the tactile pleasure of “sweetness” — expressed through warm metallic tones, iridescent reflections, and soft gradients — with the clarity of technological design. Each detail, from paint layering to accent finishes, was designed to evoke a multisensory response, reinforcing Maserati’s balance between performance and elegance.
The final proposal presents a unique chromatic language that transitions from subtle copper undertones to deep graphite shadows, encapsulating both warmth and power. Through Sweet Technology, Maserati’s GranCabrio is redefined not only as a symbol of speed and luxury, but as a sensorial experience — a contemporary Italian masterpiece that connects emotional design with technological sophistication.
